The MOSES development team is pleased to announce the release of MOSES 2024 (24.00.00.722) is a uniquely integrated simulation software that helps you meet complex offshore project challenges more effectively with the efficiency and flexibility. MOSES CONNECT Edition 2023 (23.07.00.268) Readme Bentley Lifecycle Policy and Version NumberingBentley Systems is making changes to the support lifecycle of desktop applications. One of the most important changes is that major versions of MOSES will be supported with critical fixes for at least five years, although users are still encouraged to update to each new version to benefit from new features that are added to MOSES. Bentley Systems has moved to year-based naming for all products. The version numbering (MM.MM.uu.bb) has changed. The first two digit pairs (MM.MM) indicate the major version number of the software; the next pair of digits (uu) is the minor update of that major release (if any) and the final pair (bb) is the build number. Major versions will be installed side-by-side on the same machine, for example MOSES 2023 (23.07.00.268) can be installed alongside MOSES 12.06. Minor updates to a major release will replace any existing installation with the same major version number, for example 23.07.01.bb would replace 23.07.00.bb but will still be called MOSES 2023. Note that this major version of MOSES is numbered 23.07. This is to align with the Maxsurf version, which is developed by the same team. It is expected that when the next major version is released in 2024 both products will be numbered 24.00. New FeaturesMOSES 2023 includes improvements to the AeroDyn Integration released as a technology preview with MOSES 12.06. This feature has been improved by allowing multiple AeroDyn analyses to be completed in a single command input file. A new optional parameter has been added to the -FAST option on the TDOM command to allow users to specify the name of the files output from AeroDyn. All files output from AeroDyn will now be saved to the answer directory, supporting multiple time domain simulations run with the grid analysis service.Other new features include:- Improved document navigation in the MOSES Executive.- In Modeler a zebra map render option is now available from the render dialog. Zebra mapping assists in visualizing the degree of continuity across surface bonds. Minimize offshore project risks with designs optimized using MOSES integrated simulation software. Apply industry best practices for installation and design sequences, and explore design alternatives with the efficiency and flexibility of a unified modeling environment. Apply either strip theory or radiation-diffraction panel methods for calculation of response in the frequency domain, as well as time domain predictions of non-linear vessel motions.MOSES Enterprise: Save time by evaluating installation and global performance requirements in a unified offshore-specific system. Expand MOSES Advanced with a complete range of functions from hull modeling and stability calculation, to prediction of motions, mooring and riser analysis, pipelay, and jacket launch. This video highlights some of the new features which have been added to MOSES Hull Modeler 11.03. These features facilitate the modeling of offshore floating foundation structures using simple trimesh primitive shapes. The interactive UI is demonstrated as well as an example of how automatic parametric modeling of these types of structures can be scripted via the Hull Modeler COM automation interface. Note: For Window 8 and 8.1, you must have the Microsoft KB2919355 installed on your machine. Bentley does not support its software running on Microsoft operating systems versions that Microsoft has "retired".

Minimum Profile
The minimum recommended workstation profile for running MOSES CONNECT Edition is:
Processor: Intel or AMD processor 1.0 GHz or greater. MicroStation is not supported on a CPU that does not support SSE2.
Memory: 4 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, particularly when working with larger models.
Hard Disk: 4 GB free disk space (which includes the 2 GB install footprint for a complete installation)
Video: Graphics card which fully supports DirectX 11 and OpenGL with up to date drivers. A stand-alone graphics card with 512 MB of video RAM or higher is recommended.
Screen: A resolution of at least 1024 x 768 or higher.
No Longer Supported or Delivered
Windows 7 support: Whilst MOSES software may well continue to function on Windows 7 with SP1, this operating system is no longer officially supported by Bentley Systems. Microsoft support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020.32-bit operating systems are no longer supported.

2. "Add or remove programs" and remove the Bentley connection client (whatever version you have installed, even if it's the same version number).
