Chaos Group is pleased to announce the availability of V-Ray Next 4.10.01 for SketchUp. With this new release a few clicks, you can create high-quality ray-traced visuals using one of the world’s most widely used design programs.

V-Ray Next, Update 1 (build 4.10.01) Official Release - Oct. 15, 2019:

This product uses the NeUI (A cross platform common UI for V-Ray products).

New Feature
- Add the Chaos Cloud client app installer to the V-Ray for SketchUp installer
Improvement
- Add warning about V-Ray data version upgrade upon scene activation
- Handle the 'Focus Source' during animation
- Simplify the default vropt file
- Search the material hierarchy for Bitmaps to be displayed in the SU view-port
- Make sure that the Infinite Plane can be disabled based on its user data parameter
- Implement automatic update for Lighting Analysis render element parameter changes
- Add Scene Importer support for the V-Ray Instancer

- Improve the UX when using the V-Ray tools
- Add support for Cryptomatte render channel
- Update the AppSDK to version 4.1

1.  Download and install V-Ray. No need to install the License Server.


2.  Copy cgauth.dll to the V-Ray bin dir ( C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for Rhinoceros\vrayappsdk\bin )
                                         ( C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for SketchUp\extension\vrayappsdk\bin )

    Copy vray_BRDFScanned.dll to the V-Ray plugins dir ( C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for Rhinoceros\vrayappsdk\bin\plugins )
                                                       ( C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for SketchUp\extension\vrayappsdk\bin\plugins )

Note:

It might also work with plugins based on V-Ray 4.00.XX for the other host applications, but it's not tested
