The Arbortext Product Development team is pleased to announce the availability of Arbortext Layout Developer 12.0.1.0 is an automated publishing engine that handles complex layout requirements and supports post-composition changes to content, formatting and layout.


General Information

Displaced Footnote References
A new-ption has been added in-rder to avoid the situation where a footnote reference is separated from the footnote text. This may happen at the bottom-f a page when the footnote reference appears-n the last few lines-f text and there is not enough space for the footnote text to appear. When using combined footnotes and choosing to ‘Reduce footnote height’ to resolve displaced references, it is now possible to allow the surround frame to increase in size in-rder to move the footnote reference to the same page as the footnote text. The setting represents a maximum that the surround frame is allowed to increase by, to allow users to ensure pages are not left empty. A new keyword has been added to footnote control streams to support this.

- Fixed redraw issue when bringing the main window to the front while a document is loading (SPR 9340607)
- Fixed fFormatting.recordEnd() align parameter (SPR 9497160)
- Updated PStill library to fix issues with gradients in EPS files (SPR 9529381)
- SVGs with viewbox now scale uniformally (SPR 9609996)
- Fixed problem with display maths block clashing with text when using auto leading (SPR 9592962)
- Fixed hyphenation issue when using-penType shaping (SPR 9610405)
- Updated PStill library to fix issues with tiling in EPS files (SPR 9878716)
- Fix to increase the height-f the surround frame to resolve displaced footnotes when using combined footnotes and "Reducing footnote height" mode. (SPR 9727112)
- Fixed problem with the formatting page end event duplicating footnotes when the page retries (SPR 9881760)
- Added warning dialog to identify documents saved with a different "nostrictjs" mode.
- Fixed issue with-verprint colour mode defaulting to-n (SPR 9543151)

1. Copy folder "PTC.LICENSE.WINDOWS.2019-08-28-SSQ" to temporary directory
   and run "FillLicense.bat". The "PTC_D_SSQ.dat" file near batch script
   contains the license file with correct PTC HOSTID will be generated

   Copy generated license file to folder of choice (for example, C:\Program Files\PTC)


2. Create enviroment variable PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE=<full path to PTC_D_SSQ.dat>


3. Install PTC Arbortext Layout Developer Win64 12.0.0.0


4. Overwrite original <PTC Arbortext Layout Developer Win64 12.0 program folder>
   (by default C:\Program Files\PTC\PTC Arbortext Layout Developer Win64 12.0 )
   with cracked one
