关于激活SAFE FME Licensing HOWTO:
PRE-REQUISITE:
-> You need to install the FlexNET Floating License Manager.
Run: C:\Program Files\FlexServer\lmtools.exe post install.
Grab the following from: System Settings
* Computer/Hostname (As COMPUTER_NAME)
* Ethernet Address (As HOSTID)
In the keygen folder, modify the file:
dummy.txt
Focus on the lines in the top:
SERVER COMPUTER_NAME HOSTID
daemon safe safe
USE_SERVER
Change COMPUTER_NAME and HOSTID to the values extracted from lmtools.
Then run makekey.bat, copy the safe.lic to C:\Program Files\FlexServer\
In the lmtools.exe verify that the license (safe.lic) etc is in the right folders, then start the server. If successful, you are
ready to run FME.
Running FME:
First time, select you want to connect to a floating license server. Enter your COMPUTER_NAME here, make sure license server is up and running, and select your license option on the next page.
