- If a search for channel groups or channels has been performed, the context menu of the highlighted search result can be used to load the associated file containing the groups or channels found. It is also possible to select several search results and load their files.
- When copying properties of the internal data using the AddProperties method, you can specify a channel or channel group as the source instead of a properties collection. This new option works faster and is especially recommended for many properties.
DIAdem VIEW
- Via the new display type Python graphic you can use a Python script to load or create a graphic depending on the cursor position and thereby extend your VIEW layout with any individual displays and diagram types. You can generate the graphic using a Python library, or you can perform an image export of a REPORT layout containing any REPORT objects.
- As in REPORT, the OnLayoutLoaded event is now also available in VIEW, which is triggered after loading a layout. You can implement it using Python or VBS.
DIAdem ANALYSIS
- When resampling, NoValues can be included in the interpolation if desired. This is supported by the two commands ChnResampleFreqBased and ChnResampleChnBased.
- The processing speed of the resampling functions has been significantly increased.
- The ChnPeakFind command, for finding local minimum and maximum values, can now find up to 2 billion values.
DIAdem REPORT
- When exporting a PDF for a layout, Microsoft print to PDF is also offered. You can select Microsoft PDF export from the toolbar or call it in a script using the new command ExportToPDFMSPrint.
- In the legend of a pie chart or ring diagram, you can use the two new variables CurrRelValue and CurrAbsValue to display the relative and absolute values of the pie sectors using a DIAdem expression.
- If you want to edit an empty axis system, spider axis system or 2D table without creating channels or curves, this is possible by clicking the Skip button in the dialog for new entries. This will take you directly to the settings dialog of the REPORT object.
- For a global color palette, the transparency for several colors can be set at the same time in the dialog for common settings. Thus, for markers in a 2D axis system, you no longer need to enter equal transparency values individually.
DIAdem DAC
- When acquiring GPS data, the global navigation satellite systems Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou and Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) are now also supported.
- Also when importing GPS data from file, the global navigation satellite systems Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou and Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) are supported.
DIAdem SCRIPT
- Many Python code examples have been revised and improved in the help. DIAdem 2023 Q2 Bug Fixes1425409 SCRIPT - The recording mode generates incorrect python code for calculator formulas with channel statements.
Workaround: Since the recording mode has both the wrong command and problems with quotes in the formula, it is recommended to record the statement in VBS and then convert it to Python manually.
1425427 SCRIPT - The recording mode generates duplicated code when loading file property as a channel from the result list.
Workaround: Delete the duplicated code lines.
1509073 NAVIGATOR - The Dataplugin wizard does not correctly evaluate the option to create the XY channel relations.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2179381 REPORT-API - The ConvertToChannelReferenceByName() method does not work, so old layouts cannot be converted to name-oriented mode.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2181881 REPORT - The Characteristic Diagram remains completely empty if no color has been defined for a height value in the height table.
Workaround: Define a valid color for each height value in the height table.
2197114 VIEW - The OnDropAllowed event is not triggered if the display area is empty.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2198022 ANALYSIS - The calculation function ChnEnclosedArea() creates unexpected results if the data has more than 10kHz signal frequency.
Workaround: Apply the function only to signals sampled at less than 10 kHz.
2209276 ANALYSIS - The function ChnAccelWCalc() does not work in a headless worker object.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue in a headless worker. Please use a worker object with UI.
2210004 REPORT - Measurement points don't fit to the isolines in the differential characteristic diagram when 'Linear' is used as interpolation type.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2212874 REPORT - Unit is taken over only for the first column in an expanding 2D table.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2222072 SCRIPT - VBS debugging hangs after running a Python script.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2238693 ANALYSIS - The ChnMapLinCalcExt() function may crash in 'Stairs' mode if channels with duplicate values are processed.
Workaround: Remove all duplicate values or use another mode than 'Stairs'.
2251619 REPORT - A crash may occur if an object is renamed as an object was previously named.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2252284 SHELL - Closing the "About DIAdem" dialog with OK causes the desktop.ddd file to be considered modified when DIAdem is closed.
Workaround: Close the "About DIAdem" dialog with 'Cancel'.
2272306 REPORT-API - The ExportToImage() method for a single object always creates 32bit graphics for PNG format, although other values are specified.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2281818 REPORT - The object selection frame of a simple legend is not correct if the layout size has been changed in a scaled report.
Workaround: Work with the extended legend or start with the desired layout size so you don't have to change the layout size.
2285920 REPORT - Interactive moving of a simple legend with relative position to the axis system leads to wrong position in scaled mode.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2289022 SCRIPT - A multiline text of a SUD text control is always left-aligned.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2316450 REPORT - Switching to scaled mode leads to displacement of the simple legend.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2321270 REPORT - The offered paper sizes do not have the standardized sizes and aspect ratios.
Workaround: Change to user-specified paper sizes and enter the exact sizes and the correct ratio manually.
