Sensors & Software Inc. announces the release of Version 6 of the EKKO_Project GPR Processing Software, a comprehensive software solution for GPR data management, analysis, and reporting.
Major enhancements include:
PhotoSlicer: Create stunning visualizations by overlaying GPR data depth slice images on a survey site image. The simple interface allows users to easily create images that are powerful additions to the GPR Summary Report or presentations to show GPR results in the context of the survey site.
Automatic 3D display in Voxler: Automatically export grid data into Voxler 3D visualization software. Pre-set parameters take you instantly to a 3D view of your data with a single button click. Viewing a 3D image of your GPR results is a great way to pinpoint anomalies, discern patterns or trends and communicate your results.
Generate Animation Files: Animating GPR data helps you to see features in your GPR data during analysis and can be used for marketing and value-add deliverables for your clients. With V6, users can now easily create GIF animations of depth slices and 3D Preview, without any additional software.
Multi-media Flags: Users are now able to attach multimedia files (photos, videos, and audio) to a flag at an exact location in GPR data to aid with data interpretation, positioning, and data documentation.
Grid Editing: GPR grid data can now be edited right from EKKO_Project, allowing the user to create a new grid from a series of lines, edit an existing grid and add lines (including another grid) to the selected grid.
Data Export to point cloud: Third-party point cloud software can be used for plotting very large scientific data sets. Originally developed for LiDAR, 3D Laser scans and photogrammetry, point cloud visualization software can be a useful tool for visualizing GPR data collected with GPS. EKKO_Project is the all-inclusive software solution for managing, displaying, processing and interpreting GPR data. Once the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data collection in the field is complete, the next step is to pull out the key information and images and generate a final report. The EKKO_Project software makes complex GPR analysis easy with intuitive tools to organize, edit, process and plot your GPR data. Powerful visualization, analysis and integration tools allow you to quickly and easily produce impressive reports. EKKO_Project consists of a base program with optional modules. The base package provides file organization, quick visualization of your project information in a single window and automated reporting. EKKO_Project works with project .gpz files automatically exported from current GPR systems. An embedded database structure allows all GPR data and ancillary files (GPS, topography, photos, notes, etc.) to be housed in a single .gpz file for a specific project. A project file could contain a single GPR line or several hundred lines from a complex survey. Legacy .dt1 and .hd files can also be imported. Any available project information can easily be added to the .gpz file, providing a single point for all your survey information.
