BETA-CAE Systems 22.1.7 | 2.1 Gb
BETA CAE Systems announces the release of the 22.1.7 of its software suite. Make the most of 22.1.x branch through a plethora of advancements, as well as adjustments on recently tracked issues. Known issues resolved in this release: Known issues resolved in ANSA General
Focusing on GUI Settings and, specifically, on Mouse/Keyboard operations, unexpected model rotation would be observed by modifying selected mouse button operations settings.
CAD Import / Export
Thanks to the implementation of CT 2022 SP2 library package, the below formats are now successfully interpreted, in addition to the already existing ones:
- Catia V5-6R2022 (R32)
- 3D Experience R2022X
- Solidworks 2022
- NX CR 2007
- Parasolid 34
- Creo 9
Furthermore, the Product Tree Editor was suspended during parts’ selection in the list, when attempting to highlight them in META viewer.
CAD to ANSA Translators
⋆.plmxml files failed to be successfully interpreted with the standalone CAD to ANSA translators.
Data Management
- Considerable performance improvement has been achieved for all operations involving reading information from file-based DMs. Saving a Simulation Model or a Simulation Run in DM, retrieving the "where-used" references of a Subsystem in the DM Browser, or simply navigating through the "DM" and "Details" bottom tabs in the Model Browser are now considerably faster, particularly in big DMs.
- This accelerated performance varies from 1.5 to 4.5 times for usual actions in DM Browser and Model Browser, 2 to 13 times for usual DM operations, and up to even 100 times for getting DM references of LS-DYNA Subsystem.
Topo
Function execution of Offset [Faces] would lead to erroneous selection when the Feature Selection (Feature Area or PID etc.) and Highlight Hover were both activated.
Batch Meshing
The Holes 3D would not always acquire the nodes number according to the rule definition, when zone treatment was specified. Moreover, perimeters in Holes 3D would erroneously not be created even if "Create Perimeters" option was active.
LS-DYNA
Focusing on Analysis Tools and, specifically, on Deck Report [Masses], TOTAL_BODY_MASS would be erroneously calculated, when mass from PART_INERTIA was added. Furthermore, reading unsupported value for NOTYP field of FREQUENCY_DOMAIN_SSD would lead to unexpected termination.
Abaqus
Focusing on Auxiliaries and, specifically, on Contact [Assistant], GEB_SB would not be created at the last step, when elements of main and secondary sets were created through connections.
Radioss
Unexpected termination could occur upon Contacts Check, in case one of the SETs contained SOLIDFACETs.
New Documentation in META General
Focusing on Parametric Points and specifically on Strain Gauge, unexpected inaccuracy would occur between the Scalar and Vector strain results of the LS -DYNA solver and the results calculated by Strain Gauge tool from META.
NVH Calculators
- Focusing on Modal / FRF Correlation, modes in universal file format in datablock 2414 were not correctly transformed to local coordinate system.
- Regarding Modal Response, unexpected termination could occur when calculating corner stress results on TETRA10 elements.
Flow Paths
Speaking of Streamlines, Flow Paths could not be generated from surfaces in cases of very dense boundary layer meshes.
Report
Adding text in a spreadsheet using the spreadsheet script functions has been accelerated, equivalently to using session commands.
Automation
The script function plot2d.CurvesTypesIsoWithNames() was not working as expected on Windows OS.
Best Practices
- Machine Learning in feature detection – Embedded clips handling
BETA delivers a portfolio that is relevant to the engineers’ problems and enables accelerated performance and quality improvement, from the individual user, up to a corporate level. As products today become more complex with more variations and advanced performance requirements, organizations strive to meet market demand for quality and improve the effectiveness of their processes. In these efforts, they employ engineering simulation more and more, making it a central point in product design and development to reduce time to market, increase product quality, and understand better the behavior of the numerous product designs. New developments and capabilities in engineering simulation promise not only to tackle existing industry requirements and bottlenecks but also form the building blocks for new concepts that will speed up the evolution of current processes in product design and development. However, to do so these new solutions and developments must be relevant to current engineering problems and requirements while avoid adding further complexity. To develop such solutions, simulation software providers should be aligned with customers and work closely with them to give answers to their needs beyond buzzwords. In this notion, and in partnership and continuous dialogue with the engineering world, BETA delivers a portfolio that is relevant to the engineers’ problems and enables accelerated performance and quality improvement, from the individual user, up to a corporate level. The advanced Simulation Data and Process management with KOMVOS and SPDRM, the versatile and powerful modeling with ANSA, the engagement of the freshly developed solver EPILYSIS, and the high-performance post-processing and visualization with META, have become the trusted core of simulation by the most demanding sectors. New software products, enhance further the engineering simulation capabilities focusing on taking collaboration amongst global teams to new levels and streamlining product design from early stages. NEERE, the new collaboration platform offers all the typical communication means and augments teamwork further with Virtual Reality rooms and the capability for engineers to work remotely together on their models. The also new, OpDesign revolutionizes the product design and development process through a holistic, performance-driven method. The BETA portfolio offers a platform for engineers to move into the new age of simulation by transforming the way they face their challenges. Because, after all, it is their challenges that drive evolution. BETA CAE Systems - simulation solutions BETA CAE Systems is a private engineering software company committed to the development of state of the art CAE software systems that meet the requirements of all simulation disciplines. The company’s products, the ANSA pre-processor/ EPILYSIS solver and META post-processor suite, and SPDRM, the simulation-process-data-and-resources manager, hold a worldwide leading position across a range of industries, including the automotive, railway vehicles, aerospace, motorsports, chemical processes engineering, energy, electronics, heavy machinery, power tools, and biomechanics. Product: BETA CAE SystemsVersion: 22.1.5Supported Architectures: x64Website Home Page : www.beta-cae.comLanguages Supported: englishSystem Requirements: PC *Size: 2.0 Gb * System Requirements: Graphic Requirements Upon v22.0.0, the minimum graphic requirements for ANSA and META are: AMD or NVIDIA GPU with at least 1GB of video memory and OpenGL 3.3 support. In case of unsupported hardware in Windows or Linux, ANSA and META will automatically fall back to software rendering using Mesa LLVM rasterizer pipeline. Additionally, Mesa can be manually activated. Compatibility and Supported Platforms ANSA files saved by all the first and second point releases of a major version are compatible to each other. New major versions can read files saved by previous ones but not vice versa. META Project files saved from version 22.0.0 are compatible and can be opened by META version 16.0.0 or later. To be readable by META versions earlier than v16.0.0, they have to be saved selecting the option "Version 16.0.0" or "Version <16.0.0". Support for 32-bit platform has been discontinued for all operating systems.购买后,将显示帖子中所有出售内容。
