The National Instruments development team is pleased to announce the availability of NI System Driver Suite 20.7.0 (July 2020). This suite includes common NI driver software in a single package for developing PXI, CompactRIO, or CompactDAQ systems.

The System Driver Suite provides sets of NI driver software with validated compatibility that you can use to configure PXI, CompactRIO, or CompactDAQ systems. These sets help you maintain standardization of a fixed collection of driver software throughout an application life cycle. With the System Driver Suite, you can install common drivers such as NI-FlexRIO, NI-Motion, NI-DAQmx, NI-VISA, NI-CAN, NI-IMAQ, NI-DMM, NI-SCOPE, NI-VXI, and more.

Installation Instructions

NI installs the NI System Driver Suite using NI Package Manager. If you do not already have NI software installed, NI System Driver Suite installs NI Package Manager to handle the installation of your NI software.

Note: If Windows Update is enabled, the installation process might hang if Windows Update interferes with the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Run-Time. .

You can also install products using the NI System Driver Suite USB drive. To do so, complete the following steps:

- Insert the NI System Driver Suite media.
- Launch Install.exe from the root directory of the installation media.

Note: If you want to install NI System Driver Suite from a network location, copy the entire contents of the NI System Driver Suite media to a single folder, and launch Install.exe from that location.
