- Revit 2021 files now open in Navisworks 2023 (NW-58853).
- Rebar elements from Revit are now displayed correctly in Navisworks, rather than being displaying as separate objects or 2D lines (NW-59061).
- Pipe properties in Revit files are now displayed in the correct units when loaded into Navisworks (NW-59153).
DWG files
- DWG files that contain geometry with the color 152 or similar, are now displayed correctly in Navisworks when exported as an NWC file (NW-58714).
FBX files
- Fixed an issue causing some objects in exported FBX files to appear incorrectly positioned or rotated (NW-58129).
IFC files
- Fixed an issue causing all geometry in loaded IFC files to be incorrectly displayed at the model origin (NW-58766).
- Pipe geometry in IFC files is no longer incorrectly duplicated (NW-59130).
RVM files
- The RVM file reader now skips attributes with no values in .att files, rather than failing to read the file (NW-58572).
NWD files
- Fixed an issue causing the scene to become overexposed when appending models containing duplicate lights (NW-58675).
- Point clouds, in the format of published ReCap data in NWD files, are now displayed correctly in Navisworks, even when the referenced RCS files are missing (NW-58778).
NWF/NWC files
- Transforms are now saved correctly when applied to specific NWC files in the selection tree (NW-58961).
VUE files
- Nozzle geometry in VUE files now appears correctly in the Selection Tree hierarchy, appearing as a child of the relevant parent node (NW-58676).
Inventor files
- Fixed an issue causing some parts to be missing from Inventor files when opened in Navisworks (NW-58207).
BIM 360 Glue Integration
- Shared views in the BIM 360 Glue Integration contain object sets for hidden, transparent, and colored objects. If a shared view is updated due to a new model version being uploaded, and one of the hidden items in the object set no longer exists, the first model in the view is no longer incorrectly hidden (NW-58487).
Crashes
- Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to crash when opening DWG files containing xrefs that can't be loaded. An error message is now displayed (NW-58344).
- Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to crash when opening Civil 3D files after installing the Civil 3D object enabler (NW-58575).
- Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to crash when opening VUE files (NW-58576).
- Fixed an issue where invalid date properties in NWD files caused Navisworks to crash (NW-58645).
- Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to hang or crash when switching light modes on the Viewpoint tab > Render Style panel > Lighting drop-down list (NW-58683).
- When editing a keyframe in the Animator tool, Navisworks will no longer crash if the keyframe contains no geometry (NW-58822).
- Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to crash when loading models from Model Coordination and performing any action that triggers an autosave (NW-58840).
- Fixed issues causing Navisworks to crash when opening certain DWG (NW-58852), NWD (NW-58868), and VUE files (NW-59083).
- Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to crash when loading IFC files containing grids, using the Options Editor dialog box > File Readers node > IFC page > Conversion Method > Modern option (NW-58920).
Other
- Reintroduced COM support in Navisworks 2023, enabling use of custom code to interact with Navisworks (NW-58158).
- When exporting an NWC file from Revit, any DWG files that were inserted in the model family in Revit are no longer duplicated when the NWC is opened in Navisworks (NW-58376).
- Fixed an issue causing slow loading times for DWFx files (NW-58491).
- Scaling transforms are now correctly applied to grid systems in Navisworks (NW-58577).
- The Use Point Intensity Values option on the Options Editor dialog box > File Readers node > ASCII Laser page now works correctly when importing text files as point clouds (NW-58680).
- Fixed an issue causing some geometry to be displayed in black instead of the intended colors (NW-58759).
- Using custom plug-in codes to generate images in Navisworks now respects any applied sectioning, rather than exporting only the default view (NW-58845).
- Security updates (NW-58931).
- The NWCOUT command now works correctly when using the Navisworks file exporter for AutoCAD (NW-59060).
