Our priority remains to ensure that HEEDS can be easily and productively leveraged by all users.With increasing complexity of workflows being seen across our customer base, in this release we’ve focused our efforts towards making it easierfor users to stay organized from the beginning when constructing process automation workflows. Specifically, this release includes new features to make it easier to document the operations being performed by individual process components of a workflow, as well as capabilities to help group parameters at the tagging stage of process automation. We have alsoincreased the capabilities of response extraction and assignment within workflows that branch based on conditions, as well as workflows that require iterative looping and response feedback. We have upgraded MATLAB and Simcenter Prescan portals to pave the way and provide good foundations for future enhancements, whilst also bringing to HEEDS a new portal integration to AvevaTM PRO/IITM, increasing our total portal count to 61, complemented by an additional 33 general templates. HEEDS 2022.1 also offers several other new features and updates that continue to streamline design space exploration. PROCESS VIEW ANNOTATIONS
Add annotations to the process view canvas to document analyses, connections, groups and loops, supporting collaboration across teams.
RICH TEXT PROCESS COMMENTS
New rich text document for each process is now available on the right side of the process view to document your HEEDS project with headers, colors, bullet and ordered lists, external links and images.
PYTHON BASED SCRIPT TAGGING
For this release, script tagging has been redesigned throughout to leverage the full power of the Python programming language. All standard Python imports can now be used with script tagging.
CONNECTION AND IMPORT FROM UPSTREAM DATA SOURCES
With this new release, the user can now import parameters and constraint requirements from data sources like TXT, CSV, XML, JSON and MagicDraw models. These parameters and constraint requirements can be directly linked, automatically or manually, to any corresponding variables and responses within a HEEDS project.
NEW AVEVA PRO/II PORTAL
In this release, we introduce the new Aveva Pro/II portal to support your need to optimize plant performance and by allowing you to modify parameters and automatically run PRO/II simulations.
EVALUATION SERVICE AS AN OPERATING SYSTEM SERVICE
With this new release, the Evaluation Service can now be configured during installation as an operating system service that runs automatically at machine startup
