ANSYS has announced the release of Totem 2022 R1.1 is a transistor-level product for analyzing and verifying the design integrity of power/ground structure, substrate, power and signal electro-migration, static and dynamic power performance, and electrostatic discharge.

Totem can create IP models for SoC-level signoff using RedHawk-SC. Totem analyses span early prototype to signoff and can handle a variety of design styles such as SerDes, data converters, power management IC, embedded memories, DRAM, Flash, FPGA, and image sensors. It analyses substrate noise, RDSON, self-heat, and ESD (with Ansys PathFinder™). Totem-SC’s cloud-native elastic compute architecture has the capacity to handle very large designs with modest memory overhead.This video introduces the ANSYS Totem Graphical User Interface (GUI) to help you effectively use the tool to identify and uncover design issues while performing power integrity (IR), electromigration (EM) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) analyses. This video highlights basic features of the Totem GUI such as debug maps and reports for identifying and root causing IR drop and EM issues.
