云南省著名双层石灰岩溶洞。位于建水县以东20余公里的泸江河谷中。洞分两层：上洞巨大，开口处为一已崩塌的落水洞，内部为厅状溶洞，洞内簇立石笋、石柱、钟乳石等。洞内原有一座三层楼阁，楼间一树穿堂而过，称为一箭穿三楼，后遭破坏；下洞高十余丈，洞顶密集钟乳石，沪江流入洞内的暗河段长七八公里。洞内光线阴暗，有众多燕子栖息，故名燕子洞。洞外多桃李树，春季群花竞开，为岩洞增色。夏季入洞清凉爽适；隆冬则暖气充溢，亦为燕子洞一大特色。沪江流出建水坝后，进入石灰岩山地中，河水时隐时现，形成众多的地下溶洞、暗河与地表河相互交替的现象。经修缮整理，即可形成以喀斯特地貌为主的旅游区。
